Ellen’s Health Mantras

Posted by Ellen Elmarry on 07 Jul 2008 | Tagged as: Uncategorized

there are certain times in life when you are forced to reassess your health. i use the word ‘forced’ because most people’s mindset go something like this: “oh shit, i’m going to have to wear a dress in front of how many people?” or perhaps the idea that the layers of fat that took you all fall and winter to accumulate for insulation are now less attractive when pushing them into a speedo or the lovely garment to be less self-conscious at the beach known as a ‘tank-ini’ (not that i don’t own one).

with my fantastic korean wedding date looming ahead (OCTOBER 19!!!) i want to use this opportunity to check some health and fitness goals. i’ve been on a health kick since going to korea (read: dating a personal trainer) and my friends laugh. they mock me as trying to spread the health message and that i’m all G. White. well, i’ve got some ideas that might actually get through to them. they’re so catchy that you might want to print them out and stick them on your fridge…

Ellen’s Health Mantras
